Thanks, Kerry. I couldn't have said it any better. Today amidst all the bar-b-ques and family activities, let's all take a few minutes to honor the men and women who can't be with their families because they are across the ocean defending our way of life, and those who gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy.

Thanks, Jeff! I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but words like these mean the world to those of us with empty chairs at picnic tables across the nation. I forwarded your message to Matt in Iraq so he'll know I'm not the only one thinking of him (and all his comrades!) today.
Thank goodness that Rich and Scott are home at last. (Rich is Jennie's son, but kinda feels like my own by association! :-) Makes it a happy Memorial Day, indeed.
